    一、如何写出一封令人舒服的外贸邮件?

     

    1. 语调、礼貌

    基本的礼貌问候还是需要的。

     

     

    Please 和 Kindly 没有必要同时用,一般老外也很少两个词用在同一个句子里,用一个就可以了。

     

     

     

    2. 灵活使用连词

     

    并列关系

     

    *Also

    *In addition/in addition to.../What's more

    *As well

     

     

     

     

    并列关系

     

    *Furthermore/Moreover

    *As well as

    *Apart from/ besides

     

     

     

     

    因果关系

     

    *Therefore/so/as a result/Consequently

    *Due to/Owing to

    *Since/As

     

     

     

     

    转折

     

    *But/ However

    *Although

    *Despite/ In spite of

     

     

     

     

    转折

     

    *While 表转折,表时间

     

     

    总结

     

    *In short/ In brief

    *In summary/In conclusion/To summarize

    *Firstly, secondly, thirdly.. finally

    *Finally-> Last but not the least 使用注意语境

     

     

     

     

    注意:以上的邮件写法不推荐,这么多的 say sorry,感觉不是很好。

     

    没有必要说这么多,说一次就可以了。

     

     

     

     

    3. 常用邮件用语

    不要这样用,明知道打扰还这样说,客人心里会怎么想。

     

     

    4. 避免废话

     

    简练

     

    The supplier would by no means accept this condition. ->Never

     

    “so as to”→so

     

    多用动词显得生动,多用名词显得僵硬

     

    We'll have a discussion -> We'll discuss

     

    We'll have meeting with factory manager for this.

    -> We'll meet with factory manager for this.

     

    After our observation, -> After observed,

     

    没必要用奇怪难理解的短语,现在邮件更偏向 casual,突出重点!

     

     

     

     

    5. 保持中立,减少冲突词

     

    负面词换成正面词

     

    The production is slow so we have difficulty delivering on time.

     

    →The production is not very fast so we might have difficulty delivering on time.

     

    problem-> issue/ matter

     

    Due to the shortage of raw material, we may have to wait up to one week for delivery.

     

    However, we'll speed up production to fix the issue.

     

    改变句子的主体焦点

     

    you→ there/we

     

    You might misunderstood that.. 

    ->There seems to be a misunderstanding that..

     

     

    6.保持和客户相近的行文习惯

     

    保持相同的频率

    客户热情主动,你不能惜字如金

    客户直奔主题,你不能花太多篇幅寒暄和暖场。

     

    注意客户的性格

    客户是仔细严谨的,你不能回复太随意,用词太口语化

    客户注意细节,你要放大细节。客户注意全局,你要兼顾全局

     

    照顾客户的习惯

    客户喜欢的表达方式,你也可以向他靠拢。

    客户喜欢用的词语,只要不造成理解偏差,你也可多使用。

    客户如果英语水平有限,你应该多用简单的短句

     

     

     

     

    7. 邮件中文字加粗需注意的细节

     

    适度原则

     

    提醒客户利益,而不要强加客户压力

     

     

     

     

    8.邮件中有附件

     

    第一封邮件避免带附件

     

    提醒客户邮件中有附件/多附件
