If the company's website address is included in the information, you can check the website. If it is not included, you can search the company's names on various searching engines and find their websites. You should check if there is any type of product that you sell on their websites, and then you can classify the companies. Meanwhile you should browse their websites and check if the contact information is in accord with those included in the downloaded information. If it isn't, you should write the contact information on the websites down.
It is more a convenient way for us to follow up the customers.
2. Verification of the e-mails addresses.
You can verify the e-mail addresses with some specialized applications.
And another easy and direct way of verification is that you can send e-mails to the mail boxes and see if they will bounce. You should check and analyze emails that bounce, because they will bounce not only because the email addresses are invalid, but also because the content or subject of your emails are against the customers' Anti-Spam System. So if your email bounces because of the latter reason, you should keep a record of it and try to decode the system.
3. Finally, make a phone call for confirmation.
After selection and verification, you will know which customers should be your target customers, and you will be sure of whether their e-mail addresses are valid. But if the customers don't reply you after you send e-mails to them many times, you should not hesitate to pick up your phone and make some calls to make the final confirmation.
If you are told that they are not the companies you are looking for, then you can ask if they purchase products that you sell. Maybe you will get some windfall. You will not lose anything to ask some more questions.
If they told you they are the companies you are looking for, but they don't buy the products you sell, then you should check their websites and see if there are these products on it. If there are, then they might just say so to turn you down. You can hang up the phone and call them back after one or two days. You can say: "this is *** company, the supplier of your *** products. I am looking for ***(these information is included in the database). I have something important to talk to him/her. Please transfer the call to him/her for me." You are more likely to succeed by doing so. Try to do so for a few more times and you will get what you want.
If you want to make the best use of the information, you should try harder and make more searches. You should search the companies with various searching engines and find out their websites, and then make analyses and classify the companies while recording the important information. Don't hesitate to make calls, and you will surely gain something.
