Only we better know each other, can we follow up with them much better.
为何收到样品后了无音讯？Why don’t you have reply after receiving samples?
A buyer from Libya gave three cases:
If he disappears after receiving samples, may be he is not satisfied with the sample or cannot meet with his expectation, so he will directly contact another suppliers. In this case, you can ask the reason and have improvement.
In the current situation that exchange rate is not stable, what he encountered was that after a period, for one product, another supplier quoted a lower price due to the changed exchange rate, so he tended to cooperate with the other one even he had received samples.
Getting samples after the fair: every time after the fair he will stay in China for a period of time, so the company is led by another managers. He can have choice and reply to suppliers only after he goes back to his country.

A buyer from Saudi Arabia told us that, in fact, the method of handling the sample depends on the actual situation. First of all, getting the sample, if it is quite different from what he expects, he won’t choose it directly. Then, he will wait for all samples from different companies and then arrange test. So if you don’t get reply from your customer after sending samples, they may wait for other samples to do the test, so please be patient.
Generally, after sample test, will you place orders directly?
For this question, the two Jordan buyers told us that: in general they will give the specific requirements to the supplier, because their imported products must have relevant certification. So we must ensure that the suppliers’ delivery of goods in line with international certification, which is the reason why they require higher requirements for the sample.
In addition to participating in the exhibition, what channels will you use to find suppliers?
For this question, answers given by different buyers surprisingly are consistent: Alibaba, AliExpress and Taobao. "To participate in the exhibition is a very good way to find suppliers, because you can directly see the product, but also to face and communicate with exhibitors. But usually we will send inquiries and accept the offer on trading platforms”, a buyer from Israel said. So you must know the way to find customers now.
Knowing the above answers from buyers, do you have a better understanding of customers? I think that if customers are willing to accept your sample, it represents an opportunity. In any case, we must take it seriously to seize the opportunity. If customers don’t reply you or think that your products fail to meet their expectation, you can call to ask patiently, and then improve the sample. If they send you requirements for passing the certification or meeting the requirements of the market, you ought to write them down and meet their needs. Since the sample has been sent, it is indeed an opportunity to get order.
