    今天正在街上看到了两位美丽高挑的俄罗斯妹子,美丽动人,真令人羡慕。

    我也真的非常想与高贵冷艳的俄罗斯人愉快的交谈,可惜啊,“鸡同鸭讲”。这就让我回想起一直在跟踪的俄罗斯大品牌。

    我是从2月份开始跟踪这位俄罗斯客户的,跟俄罗斯客户的最大的困难就是语言不通。

    虽然这品牌很大,可是老板是地地道道的俄罗斯人,并且不会说英语。这让我工作难上加难。刚开始,我拨通了俄罗斯老板的手机号码,老板听到我用英语跟他沟通,他就立马把电话传给他的秘书。这位秘书的英语可杠杠的,所以沟通没有压力,而且她并不像一般的俄罗斯女士那么的冷艳并且很负责,在我跟进这位客户期间帮助了我不少。我每一次电话,跟秘书聊完后,秘书就会立马通知他的老板并且马上就可以回复邮件给我的。就是这样我很成功地跟进到客户挑选了感兴趣的款式并报了价格,最令人感到高兴地就是在4月份广交会还成功地邀请到俄罗斯老板来我们的展位。

    正所谓成也英语败也英语,由于语言沟通的问题,尽管我们有了一个很好的开始,更邀请了这位俄罗斯老板广交会来到了我们的展位,并向他和他随同的中国翻译介绍了我们的产品和优势。但这次老板带了一个“神”翻译,这位翻译,懒懒散散地慢悠悠地只向俄罗斯客户翻译了价格,其它起到决定性作用的我们的产品优势全然忽略。我们虽然很急,但真的没办法,自认倒霉遇到如此的翻译。因为真的不晓得俄语沟通,不然我想我们一定可以稳稳拿下这个客户。

    虽然如此,我依然没放弃继续跟踪这位客户,虽然4月份广交会时并不能够合作,但并不代表以后没机会。所以之后我也一直联系客户。可是我真的很倒霉,之前那位很友善的秘书辞职了,之后换了位英语表达不太好并且性子急的秘书。这样沟通起来就真的不太顺利。不过后来也许因为我夺命邮件&夺命追魂CALL,还是成功地给客户留下了深刻印象并答应10月份广交会来我们工厂参观。我真的欣喜若狂啊。所以在接近广交会的这段时间,我再次电话联系了俄罗斯客户,原来客户已经到了中国。虽然这次老板还是带了我最不愿意见到的那位“神”翻译一齐来。但还是希望客户可以真的和我见面并且顺利展开合作。

    虽然觉得成功很大程度取决于努力,但有时还是需要有贵人相助才行。我现在真心希望那位俄罗斯的“神”翻译能够跃身一变成为我的贵人。成功与否,就看今朝!GOD BLESS!

    Today I encountered two beautiful and tall Russian ladies on the street. They are so beautiful that makes me envy.

    Actually I would love to have a nice talk with those beautiful and dignified Russians. But there is a huge "language barrier", and they remind me of the a big Russian customer whom I have been following up with.

    I started to follow up with this Russian customer in February, and the greatest problem in communicating with him is language.

    This brand is really famous, but the customer is a very native Russian who cannot speak English, which makes my work even harder. At the very beginning when I called the customer, he heard that I was talking to him in English and he transferred the call to his secretary immediately. The secretary's English was really good, so I had no problem communicating with her. She was not cold as other Russian ladies and she was really responsible who helped me a lot when I followed up with the customer. Every time I talked to her over the phone, she would inform her boss right away and would reply me with an e-mail. And in this way I managed to keep following up with the customer, and the customer chose the products he liked most and I made the quotation. What delighted me the most was that I succeeded in inviting the customers to our both in the Canton Fair in this April.

    Because of English, I failed and succeeded. Language is a really important factor. Although we had a good start of the communication with this customer, and we even made it to invite the Russian customer to our booth in Canton Fair, and we also introduced our products and strengths to the customer and his interpreter, yet the interpreter the customer brought was a screwup, who just translated the quotation to the Russian customer slack and slowly and mentioned nothing of the strengths of our products, which were the decisive factors. Anxious as we were, we could do nothing about it but accept the back luck of meeting with such a interpreter. Had it not been for the language barrier, we would have got the customer successfully.

    Even so I didn't give up following up with this customer. And though we didn't make cooperation in the Canton Fair in April, it doesn't mean that we will not establish cooperative relationship. I have kept contacting the customer, but I had got such a bad luck—the former friendly secretary quitted the job and was replaced by one who was not good in English and had a shot temper, and our communication didn't go well. But later on, probably because of my overwhelmingly numerous e-mails and ceaseless phone calls, I succeeded in impressing the customer and he agreed to visit our factory during the Canton Fair in October. I was so delighted. So I called the customer again a few days before the Canton Fair. And I was told that the Russian customer had arrived in China already. This time the customer still brought the "unbelievable" interpreter that I disliked, but I hoped that the customer would finally meet me and we could cooperate smoothly.

    Although I believe that success depends mostly on the efforts you make, you also need the help from some important people as well. And now I really hope that this "unbelievable" interpreter could become the important person who helps me. This morning will witness whether I will succeed! God bless me!

    Сегодня на улице я встретил две красивой и высокой девушки. Они такие красивые, что я  им завидовал.
    Дело в том, что я хотел бы хорошо говорить с тем элегантным и роскошным русским, но существует великое языковое препятствие между нами, что мне напомнило о некотором русском великом клиенте, позади которого я следую.
    Я следую позади того русского клиента от февраля, наибольшая трудность между мной и русским клиентом в том, что мы не можем понять друг друга по языку.
