[买家之声]沟通环节:海外买家更喜欢的沟通方式 (from 6月&7月买家之声)

外贸难做吗?难!
外贸好做吗?好做!
为啥有些人赚钱容易,有人赚钱难?
细细分析,你会发现但凡做得好的外贸公司/工厂,
除去本身产品不说,很大关键因素在于“服务”,在于“沟通”!
质量再好,那也得基于对方已经下单收到货了,但是前期的沟通,有时抵过天~
小编接下去会为大家展示目前6月7月从网站上买家给出的“关于沟通环节”的一些建议/诉求
PS:这些都是Alibaba.com上买家的反馈,所以对您开发阿里巴巴上的海外买家更具参考意义。  
第一:沟通态度

 
重视买家:
买家联系卖家要价格的时候,卖家一点都不重视
When I am chatting for a quote they didn't  take me seriously and I don't  like that.
相互尊重
Staffs at "XXX company" very rude and bad attitude!!!!
(小编有话说:每一个来联系的买家可能都是潜在的客户,如何不让潜在客户溜走也是一门大学问,供应商朋友们想必比我们更急切地希望拿到订单,找到合适的买家吧!)
第二:沟通习惯
(小编有话说:你知道外企有个习惯是“即使我坐在你边上,可能我有工作事情也会直接以邮件形式告诉你的”。这个其实很形象地概况了“老外们很大程度上依赖邮件的沟通方式”。所以,外国客户是有着非常良好的check email的习惯的!中国人的工作方式也在改变了,比如我们阿里员工也是每天会查看邮件,虽然我们已经在努力的方向上了,但我们仍需继续努力!所以,供应商朋友们在日常工作中一定要避免以下几个“让订单从你指尖溜走”的坏毛病哦~~)
及时回复
卖家不回复
1. A big part of the requests went unanswered. From the rest, we still couldn't come to a conclusive stand.
2. The suppliers are not responding to any inquiries.
3. Haven’t yet got responses from my questions of item.
4. I don't get information on this product, even   sending messages to the supplier, him he/she doesn't answer my messages
5. Impossible to get any answers even after taking 2hrs to find a single email address, 24hrs later, still no answer
6. No answer to my email requesting information about products.
7. The supplier we contacted with has not send us the quote, we are waiting his reply for a week
8. One provided a correct product, but when I contacted them, there's no feedback any more
9. I have asked one of the suppliers on your weekly special list about five times to quote, without any response. About five others I had asked also did not even contact me. It seems to be that as soon as a Wheel Chair user explain that he want to get quality
10. I have selected Hyundai grace 2000 for the last 3 weeks, until now no proper communication for finalizing the deal.  Regards

1.The supplier reply was too late took 1 week
2. They are late to reply by email
3. Very slow communication
4. It’s too late to get the answer while the market situation is changed almost day by day.我无法收到及时的回复,但是市场却日息变化)
u  沟通成本太大
1. It takes me a long hours to just asked, NAME,ACCOUNT NUMBER,BANK ADDRESS, coz I’m not using credit cards, I’m going to order then where I’m going to send the money? Is that very hard to explain and asked ?!
2. Sellers take way too long to contact their customers back who wants to buy from them
u  时差问题,沟通不能及时
1. Communication is lacking... The time difference or communication is causing confusion.... I was able to order other costumes successfully but disappointed with my last order. Especially since I'm working with a deadline.(卖家的时差)
2. The suppliers were too aggressive and some of them expected responses within 18 hours. We are in different time zones and that was awkward. I spent $650 USD to get 7 samples. If they had paid to ship it would have cost much less. This did not feel good to(买家的时差)

 
先理解买家需求再回复
卖家太急于回复而忽视买家的问题
1. Find a way to make sure the reply reflects the specifications on the request. Too many  are in such a hurry to respond,  they are not even close to the subject or article required
2. Some customer never pay attention to the buyer's inquire quotation even give respond.
3. They don't follow the required demands.
4. Understand requirements before throwing vendors over the fence.
5. The proposals did not match my needs and won't stop cluttering my inbox.
6. We get several answers from suppliers that do not have what we need, plus a bunch of items that they hope we will buy.  Our customers are very specific with what they need and often will not accept copies
7. We sent requests to more than 100 suppliers, asking for empty clamshell for a standard USB drive. All we got were profoundly stupid responses that we are creating an entire website with.   One company came close to answering simply
8. If you read the requirements properly and find suppliers who match the full criteria
9. Companies are not reading the instructions we are asking, We are getting so many quotes that are not suitable
10. It is nice that we got response but all the suppliers ignored our specification requirements. We asked specifically for 202V three phase AC output. All five respondents gave us inverters for 380V.
11. It’s very frustrating when the suppliers didn’t even take the time to read my request.  More than half of the suppliers were sending me quotes for regular beach towels which is not what I’m looking for.  I felt like they were just wasting my time.
12. It'll be better for sellers to check buyer's required specification exactly and comment about their products.


用一个买家的话来总结:
Suppliers provided quotes that were: 1. Unrelated to the buying request 2. Did not match buying request requirements. 3. Partially matched buying request requirements 4. Contained conflicting information 5. Contained false information
卖家给的信息分类:1. 和我的需求相关2. 不符合我的要求3.部分符合4.直接是相反的产品5.给的是错误的信息

其他:
u  千万不要发错产品
Complicated to use - The seller is being difficult and sent us a horrible product that was not as pictured. Its false advertising and were out of hundreds of Dollars and are having to fight to get a refund and we cannot find the governing body's contact
u做专业的供应商( 卖家都不了解自己的产品,买家很难信任你)
1. You do not have the necessary technical knowledge to do the job you claim that you are doing
2. Some of the people who reply don`t seem to have any product knowledge at all.
3. Some suppliers seems knowingly offer very narrowly related equipments
4. Sellers had no good knowledge about their product
5. Most of them did not provide a correct product
第三:沟通工具

沟通线上化(多使用Alibaba后台)
u  经常联系不上卖家,建议供应商朋友及时查看MC
A "contact us" form/page/email for questions you may have concerning order status. Sometimes you just can't get a hold of your saleswoman/man.
u  买家更希望是通过Alibaba平台来联系
Many suppliers quoted directly through Email, not through Alibaba. This made quote-management difficult. Also, responses I had made through the Alibaba-interface were deleted after I sent them, making the tracking of discussions difficult if not impossible

第四:沟通能力



u  英文理解能力:
1. 8 pairs is not 8 conductors but 16... Therefore most of your network cable are misleading...
2. Good morning team, obviously the language difference is a problem. The word (big)has another meaning in Chinese than English. I am trying to source a specific type of product but how to describe it so it can be understood is difficult for me.
3. We are still talking to 3 vendors trying to get one to understand my specific requirements.  This is a big problem with Chinese vendors

Good English interpretation.    Very important!!!
(小编有话说:供应商朋友可能也难免遇到这样的问题:我看了好几遍好像还是不太理解买家说的是啥?这种情况下,切勿乱回复乱报价,若真不理解,建议你回个邮件告诉他对于以下几点ABCD有些疑问,为了给他提供更准确的报价和产品信息,希望他可以和你具体解释下这几个问题。)

第五:跨文化交际
(不同国家不同习俗)

此处我找不到客户原声,仅贡献一个我曾经服务的买家例子:  
中国人认为红色是重点强调甚至喜庆的意思,但是请勿因为强调而给老外回复时候用红色,因为外国人认为红色是血腥和警戒,比如红灯停,红色警戒等,因此当卖家回复买家邮件用上红色字体以后,这会造成买家很大的不满。
(小编有话说:做生意都图个长期发展,把买家吸引进来,靠的是“前台的产品信息质量”,但是如何把买家留住,靠的是你一流的沟通和服务能力!会吹会说固然好,说到点子上才是王道!怎样才能说到买家心坎里去,靠的是你和买家心意相通!唯有深入了解网站买家心里所想才能更深入明白他们想要的是啥?加油吧,亲爱的供应商朋友们~~)
